AI video costs, measured.
Compare generative video models by provider, resolution, input contract and audio. GenMeter separates the provider's base rate from the real cost of your selected scenario, including reference-video input when it is billable.

Formula
- Output-only:
rate × output seconds. - Input + output:
rate × (reference-video seconds + output seconds). - Split input/output:
output rate × output + input rate × video. - Input audio:
rate × supplied audio seconds; generated video follows the audio duration. - Credit schedule:
plan price ÷ monthly credits × credits for the selected duration. - Fixed credits:
plan price ÷ monthly credits × credits per generation. - Credit rate:
plan or pack price ÷ included credits × credits per output second × output seconds; generated audio and video-reference modes can change the burn. - Motion Control providers may meter the driving clip:
reference-video rate × input-video seconds; its output follows that clip's duration. - Replicate Seedance video mode uses a flat video-input rate per output second; input duration is not metered.
- Images and audio references are free unless the row says otherwise. A normalized 1s rate may not be a valid 1s API request.
Evidence policy
- Official rates and locally captured live billing outrank old article prose.
- BytePlus/fal formula totals are estimates; returned usage and final invoices control.
- Subscription-effective rows appear only when both the plan allocation and model burn are publicly verifiable; they assume every monthly credit is consumed.
Sources
Provider pages and documentation behind the comparison. Final invoices and provider consoles remain authoritative.
